Andy brings us a very special solo show featuring his bottomless vocals and unique melodies. If there’s anyone around here that hasn’t heard about Andy, here’s a little piece of his bio. We are continually amazed and grateful to have a talent such as Andy right in our back yard…
“After attending Berklee College of Music where he studied bass and composition, Andy moved to Washington DC and formed the seminal funk rock band, Egypt. After a million miles in a van and several independent label CD releases, Andy picked up the guitar and formed Earth To Andy who quickly signed with Warner Brothers boutique label, Giant Records. The release of their critically acclaimed CD “Chronicle Kings” saw several of Andy’s songs featured on modern rock radio and in the highly rated network TV shows, Charmed and Beverly Hills 90210. He has shared the stage with countless acts such as Stone Temple Pilots, Live, Fuel, Stained, Everclear and 3 Doors Down, to name a few.
Reinventing himself time and again, Andy has continually grown as a musician and songwriter. He has crafted hundreds of songs, scores of unforgettable hooks, and has released two solo CDs.”
Andy will be joined by the lovely and engaging Erin James.
The show starts at 8pm/$5. Listen at www.andywaldeck.com.

Come dance, come listen, come find out why they have one of the fastest-growing fanbases in Central Virginia. With special guests The Cove, featuring Koda Kerl.

Miss Tess is a New York City based songwriter and performing musician, who tours regularly with her band, as “Miss Tess & The Bon Ton Parade”. In addition to Tess on her 1920s archtop guitar, the current lineup includes Alec Spiegelman on sax & clarinet, Paul Dilley on upright bass, and Matt Meyer on drums.
After nationally touring for the last five years, Miss Tess has just released her anticipated fifth album, “Darling, oh Darling”. The album presents an ecclectic array of originals, all stemming from roots in jazz, swing, blues, and folk. Miss Tess draws comparisons to artists such as Jolie Holland, Madeleine Peyroux, Regina Spektor, or Ella Fitzgerald, but maintains a style all of her own.
”Outstanding Folk Artist of the Year”–Boston Music Awards
“The area’s next musical sensation” –Boston Magazine
“Miss Tess takes old music and makes it sound fresh. She also makes new music with a sense of history and context to it. No matter what label you want to put on it, it’s damn good music. Period.” –Matt Smith, Club Passim
“If Billie Holiday and Chet Atkins had a musical baby, it would be Miss Tess. With a calmness that belies the intensity in her music, Miss Tess will cement a place in your music- loving heart with her first note.” –Caroline Aiken, Singer/songwriter
“This is music cut from a different cloth than the cardboard-stiff newness of more trend driven singer-songwriters, and it’s appeal more closely resembles your favorite pair of jeans: the lovingly broken-in elegance that inspires confident ease.”–Jon Santiago, Charleston City Paper
