The trio’s strong tie to the wonders and ineffable dream-moments of life is the primary force behind their writing and art. Writing and playing music around the country is also the most real thing they can think to do. Since August 2009 they have been touring and aside from fulfilling a need for transience, they have come to find a sense of belonging amidst the stringed instruments, the harmonies, and the incredible collection of vibrant humans that call themselves fans.

Ted, Logan, and Jake love harmonies, energy, and most of all you. Momentary Prophets invite you to share in the music and seek bliss through it, wherever it resides. They don’t want to change the world, just make a positive contribution to the already changing world…wait no, they do want to change the world.

The show starts at 8pm/$5. Listen at www.myspace.com/momentaryprophets

Recorded in Central Virginia with his band The Roosevelts, it draws from a well of Americana while painting with shades more undefined and foreign. It is visceral but arranged. Rock n roll but humble. It’s a 1957 D-18 Martin guitar. Dusty and dirty tube amplifiers. It’s heartache and it’s family and friends. As the designer Charles Eames said, “”The details are not details. They make the product. The connections, the connections, the connections.”

From the spectacularly successful Live Arts production of “Hank Williams: Lost Highway”, Dallas Wesley and the Drifting Cowboys bring the music of Hank Williams to our stage. If you saw the performance, you know that Dallas does Hank better than Hank himself. And, like us, you most likely left the show wanting more. We are very pleased to present Dallas Wesley and the “Drifting Cowboys” for an evening of nothing but Hank’s music.

“Just as Williams is described, Wesley (a Lynchburg-based singer-songwriter) has the dark, beady eyes Williams was known for, could easily “change clothes in a shotgun barrel,” and has the yodel to prove it. His Driftin’ Cowboys—Thomas Gunn on Bass, Jeffrey Justice on Fiddle and Dan Sebring on guitar and Bahlmann Abbott on pedal steel—sound like the real deal.” —C-ville Weekly Review

The show starts at 8pm/$10.

“After attending Berklee College of Music where he studied bass and composition, Andy moved to Washington DC and formed the seminal funk rock band, Egypt. After a million miles in a van and several independent label CD releases, Andy picked up the guitar and formed Earth To Andy who quickly signed with Warner Brothers boutique label, Giant Records. The release of their critically acclaimed CD “Chronicle Kings” saw several of Andy’s songs featured on modern rock radio and in the highly rated network TV shows, Charmed and Beverly Hills 90210. He has shared the stage with countless acts such as Stone Temple Pilots, Live, Fuel, Stained, Everclear and 3 Doors Down, to name a few.

Reinventing himself time and again, Andy has continually grown as a musician and songwriter. He has crafted hundreds of songs, scores of unforgettable hooks, and has released two solo CDs.”

Andy will be joined by the lovely and engaging Erin James.
