Welcome to Rapunzel’s Coffee and Books Online

Rapunzel’s Coffee & Books is an eclectic coffee shop and used bookstore located in The Packing Shed in historic Lovingston, Virginia. Rapunzel’s teams up with the Further Ado Foundation to host live acoustic music every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings starting at 8pm.  For more information about the Further Ado Foundation, please visit www.furtheradofoundation.com.

We host an open jam every Wednesday night at 8pm, for anyone who wishes to play or listen. Fridays and Saturdays are performances; predominantly music, but we also occasionally have theater and dance presentations as well.  Open Mic Night is held on the second Friday of each month.

All ages are welcome, and kids under 12 get in free.

At Rapunzel’s we carry thousands of used books at good prices; paperbacks start at $1.25 and hardcovers start at $3.00.

Rapunzel’s is a smoke and alcohol-free environment. With lots of couches. (And one small sleeping dog). Come get comfortable with a good book and a cup of coffee or tea, and settle in for an evening of music on the couch of your choice… if Cleo hasn’t claimed it already!
